Tilton's industrial design teams use state-of-the-art modelling technologies to create innovative, market-driven packaging. Once the design is complete, the ecodesign process begins. This results in premium packaging with a very small environmental footprint.

Tilton has established its own precision machine shop to increase its agility and respond more quickly to requests. Our engineers, machinists and toolmakers create proprietary thermoforming moulds and tools. This allows us to operate to our high standards and reduce production times.

Our integrated recycling capability starts in our extrusion department. Here, high-quality PET, CPET, PLA and PP resins are processed into plastic sheeting for the production of sustainable packaging. The PET waste comes only from sorting centers. After being ground and cleaned, it is fed into the extruder as 100% post-consumer flakes. This is how the certified food-grade RPET material is formed, which contributes to the reduction of CO^₂emissions compared to new material.

Tilton pushes the boundaries of thermoforming. With moulds designed in our tooling department and state-of-the-art production equipment, we can meet any demand with high performance, premium quality and ecoresponsible packaging.

Tilton packaging products meet the strict international standards required by the industries we serve. We also have stringent (HACCP) quality control procedures in place, including connected equipment, real-time production monitoring dashboards, laboratory testing and batch coding systems for traceability.

Our experts in food engineering, chemical engineering and process engineering are constantly perfecting formulas, tools and methods from our laboratories to produce environmentally friendly packaging with less material and less energy. We innovate in constant collaboration with key suppliers and research centres.
